Young Performers Festival Travel Grant

Early Music America offers travel grants annually to college or university early music ensembles to support the ensemble’s travel to participate in EMA’s Young Performers Festival. Ensembles must first apply to be a part of EMA’s Young Performers Festival before they are eligible to apply for a YPF Travel Grant.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Eligible Applicants
Ensembles must submit an application for the Young Performers Festival from June 12-16, 2017 in Boston, MA in addition to submitting an application for a YPF Travel Grant in order to be eligible for travel grant funding. If you have not applied for the Festival, please click here.
Judging
The panel of 3 judges selecting the ensembles for Young Performers Festival will also select the Travel Grant recipients. Those selected for the Young Performers Festival & Travel Grants will be notified by January 20, 2017, at the latest.
Required Materials
  1. Contact Information
  2. Preliminary budget including estimated major expenses such as travel and room and board for all ensemble members (PDF or Excel)
  3. Additional funding sources including a proposed list of sources for the remainder of the funds needed, even if not confirmed (PDF or Excel)
