The ABO’s opening celebratory concert is fit for a king! Joining the ABO for this concert are The Cathedral of St. Philip Choirs and the Cathedral’s superb Organist, Assistant Choirmaster, and international soloist, Caroline Robinson. G.F. Handel’s exhilarating coronation anthem Zadok the Priest opens our program. Caroline’s sublime artistry will be on full display in Handel’s Organ Concerto Op.4 No. 2 in B-flat major. Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 3 will enthrall audiences with its rich instrumentation including the rare appearance of three trumpets and timpani!
