Charlotte Mattax Moersch, harpsichord: Le clavecin français
January 8 @ 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm EST
Free
This concert celebrates the sumptuous sonority of the French harpsichord—framing the music of François Couperin with that of other composers in his orbit: his uncle Louis, his cousin Armand-Louis, Claude Balbastre, and Jean Henry D’Anglebert. Also featured will be transcriptions of two viol pieces by Antoine Forquerary and a keyboard arrangement of J.S. Bach’s second violin sonata, BWV 1003. The event is free and open to the public.
