Boston Early Music Festival
Since 1980, the Boston Early Music Festival has been at the forefront for excellence in the field of Early Music throughout North America. BEMF began co-presenting concerts and opera productions at the Morgan in 2006.

Shades of Minor: Beethoven, Schubert, and Mendelssohn

Featuring virtuoso instrumentalists from across Europe, Chiaroscuro Quartet has captivated audiences and critics around the world in performances that are bursting with fearless imagination, thrilling passion, and flawless execution. “The playing is intense and refined, exploratory and poised.” – The Guardian.
