Choir of St. Luke in the Fields – A Bach Christmas

Music from Bach’s first Christmas Day in Leipzig in 1723 for Vespers in the Nikolaikirche.  The program will include two of Bach’s most festive works for Christmas, the Magnificat in E Flat Major, BWV 243a with Christmas interpolations and Cantata 63, Christen, atzet diesen Tag.

Lecturer at 7 pm with Dr. David Schulenberg
