Four Nations Ensemble: Five Parts and Foreign Influences German instrumental sonatas and arias

January 19 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm EST

$50.

The five-part orchestra imported from Lully’s Paris inspired the richest textures and most inspired works from Muffat, Fischer, and the Bachs.  Four Nations explores the delightful dance works of Fischer to the profound sonatas of Muffat with comic relief from J. S. Bach in the perfect acoustic of the gilded chapel of the Church of the Heavenly Rest.  Join Pascale Beaudin, Olivier Brault, Chloe Fedor, Nicole Divall and Kristen Linfante, Loretta O’Sullivan, Keiran Campbell, and Andrew Appel in this richest of Baroque programs.
