Friends & Colleagues – Bach & Telemann

Carolina Pro Musica’s GEMS (Gaston Early Music Series) presents Friends & Colleagues – a program of music by Bach & Telemann. The two knew each other and had personal connections. The program features instrumental & vocal music including arias from cantatas as well as solos, trios and a quartet. Musicians include Sung Lee. baroque oboe and other winds, Janelle Davis, baroque strings, Holly Maurer, recorder & viol, Karen Jacob, harpsichord, and Rebecca Miller, soprano. This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.
