“inVIOLata” Nota Bene viol consort with guest lutenist Mark Rimple

A concert filled with the musical moods and modes of Josquin’s era, sung instrumentally on Renaissance strings. Nota Bene plays a matched set of Renaissance viols; Mark Rimple joins them playing Renaissance lute.

Capitol Early Music embarks on its 2021-2022 season of in-person concerts taking health precautions to protect the safety of our audience and performers. This concert will be played without intermission. Attendance is restricted to persons vaccinated against Covid-19 and, in keeping with local regulations, audience members must remain masked while indoors.  Tickets must be purchased in advance; no sales at the door. Or join us virtually: a recording of the live concert will be available for streaming post-concert.
