Los Angeles Baroque – The Other B.T.S*… Live in Concert!

*No, we’re not talking about the South Korean smash sensations, it’s Bach, Telemann and Scarlatti time! LA’s community baroque “Big Band” is exploring some of the most satisfying orchestral suites by composers who knew a thing or two about writing them. Join us for our 7th Season closer, including Bach’s Orchestral Suite No. 2 (aka “The Flute Suite” aka Badinerie) and Telemann’s E Minor Tafelmusik (1st production), followed by a party with the musicians.

Founded in 2016, Los Angeles Baroque is greater LA’s only community-based baroque orchestra. Its members are baroque-curious “modern instrument” professionals, students, professional baroque specialist musicians, and community players, of all ages and from all walks of life.
Highlights from this calendar are included in the weekly E-Notes email newsletter (Tuesdays). Selections are made based on variety of event types and geographic regions.
