Performance: The Unicorn
April 16 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

Eya presents The Unicorn, a new program featuring the music of women composers and words of women mystics from the medieval era.
Inspired by the mysterious medieval tapestries known as “The Lady and the Unicorn,” this program amplifies the voices of visionary women who seek–and find–sacred union unto themselves. Featuring medieval music of women, including the trouvères, Hildegard von Bingen, Las Huelgas Codex, French motets, and a special new commission by Baltimore-based composer (and friend of Eya) Douglas Buchanan, featuring the voices of medieval mystics.
This event will be livestreamed privately on our YouTube channel and available for one month following the live performance.
