Any events submitted prior to the installation will need to be resubmitted to the new calendar. Ricercar Consort presents “The Virgin’s Teares”

The Counter-Reformation brought a new focus on the Virgin Mary, who was often depicted in paintings and musical offerings in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. Ricercar Consort explores some of this music in The Virgin’s Teares, which includes works by Monteverdi, Purcell, Vivaldi, and Handel.
