Long & Away, a consort of viols

Viol consort Long & Away presents an eclectic program traveling with the Muses from the 1400s to the present day. Inspired by the time hopping “Song of Time” from The Legend of Zelda, the program features music from the 15th-century through the present, including traditional folk tunes from the British Isles and Celtic-inspired contemporary compositions by Larry Wallach and William Ayton. The program concludes with James Perretta’s Fantasia on The Song of Time.
