The Bach Project with Reginald Mobley, countertenor

October 2 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm EDT

$18 – $25
Internationally-acclaimed countertenor, Boston resident, and sometime member of the choir of All Saints’ Ashmont, Reginald Mobley joins the Bach Project chamber ensemble in a program including the cantata “Vergnügte Ruh, beliebte Seelenlust” (BWV 170) for solo alto and orchestra, the Violin Concerto in A minor (BWV 1041) featuring Susanna Ogata on solo violin, and a partita of variations for organ, “Sei gegrüßet, Jesu gütig” (BWV 768).
About Reggie Mobley:
“…but the voice that many in the audience left the hall raving about was that of countertenor Reginald Mobley, also pure of tone, immaculate in his articulation and with a personal approach to ornamentation that was never too much and always musical.”
