The Musical Offering

Bach’s visit to Frederick II’s court in 1747 inspired the collection of keyboard pieces and chamber music which he later published as the Musical Offering. Montréal-based chamber ensemble Poiesis will present a programme including highlights from Bach’s Musical Offering and pieces written by Frederick II’s court composers Johann Gottlieb Graun, Johann Joachim Quantz, and Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.
