The Unrecorded Odyssey: Voices from the Archives

Tactus SF presents “The Unrecorded Odyssey: Voices from the Archives,” showcasing rare and predominantly unrecorded Renaissance music. These pieces provide a rare glimpse into the rich and varied archives of Renaissance music—including music by women composers and composers working in New Spain.
Tactus SF will be joined by guest artists Eugene Petrushansky, Caroline Armitage, and Mane Musica. Choral pieces by Orazio Vecchi, Hernando Franco, Juan Gutiérrez de Padilla and Cristóbal de Morales, with instrumental compositions by Isabella Leonarda, Maddalena Casulana, Tiburtio Massaino, Girolamo Frescobaldi, and Heinrich Isaac.
