Twilight Zone: Strange and Supernatural Music of the Baroque (Broomfield Auditorium)

October 23 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

$2 – $20

The strange and supernatural is present in many Baroque pieces, and we invite you to join us for an eerie and delightfully haunted set of concerts! Some say that the very sounds of the viola d’amore and viola da gamba create an alternate universe. Works by Marin Marais, Anthony Holborne, Henry Purcell, from the Gottweig Archive (Biber), and Giuseppe Tartini will be performed by Paul Primus, Barbara Hamilton, Sarah Biber, Sarah Graf and Karl Reque. Chris Kendall will read spooky poems by Dickinson, Herrick and Shakespeare.
