Visions & Reveries

GRAMMY-nominated early music ensemble Ars Lyrica Houston presents Visions & Reveries, an all-French program featuring world renowned soprano Lauren Snouffer alongside a select ensemble of period instrument specialists.

When: Saturday, March 16 at 7:30pm CT (+ livestream!)
Where: Zilkha Hall, The Hobby Center (800 Bagby St)

The program includes lyric cantatas on mythological themes by Elizabeth Claude Jacquet de la Guerre and Jean-Philippe Rameau, alongside sumptuous instrumental music by François Couperin. The concert will immerse listeners into a French Baroque reverie. Stunning singing by Lauren Snouffer and flowing flourishes on period instruments will leave concertgoers rejuvenated by the elegance and beauty of the Baroque!
