DESCRIPTION:As Halloween approaches\, the Sebastians explore the darker sid
 e of the Baroque. From Bach’s dramatic D minor Toccata and Fugue and Tar
 tini’s legendary Devil’s Trill Sonata to musical portraits\, storms\, 
 ghosts\, and follies\, this program uncovers the strange and theatrical im
 agination of the eighteenth century. Performed on period instruments\, the
 se works reveal a world where virtuosity\, mystery\, and storytelling meet
 .\nThe program includes music by Bach\, Rebel\, Telemann\, Rameau\, Tartin
 i\, Vivaldi\, and Farina\, alongside the world premiere of Carson Cooman
 ’s Totentanz.\nPresented by the Morris Museum at the Bickford Theatre. T
