 uminating the rich musical traditions from the end of the Gothic era and t
 he rise of the Renaissance.\nThe ensemble members - all experts in mediev
 al performance - perform beautiful and highly complex chansons of the late
  14th century ars subtilior and limpid French chansons that also became po
 pular in Italy in the early fifteenth century.\nWith works by\, among oth
 ers\, Johannes Ciconia\, Trebor\, Johannes Senleches\, Solage\, Guillaume 
 de Machaut\, Guillaume Dufay\, and Gilles Binchois\, rousing dance music f
 rom medieval Florence and finely wrought instrumental arrangements from th
 e Faenza codex and the Buxheim Organ book.
