DESCRIPTION:The practice of applying new text to existing music is as old a
 s music itself. Parody describes this technique\, but we are left with man
 y questions: Is it mockery? Is it cheating? What happens to the relationsh
 ip between the music and its original text? Together we will explore the i
 mplications of parody in music and other art forms\, and have some fun pla
 ying and singing through some Renaissance examples.  For voices and instru
