SUMMARY:Alkemie hosts a May Day Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season with us during a free\, family-friendly MA
 Y DAY event in Prospect Park\, near Alkemie’s homebase. Participants are
  encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to this casual\, drop-in event\, which
  will take place near the Peristyle on the south side of the Park.May Day 
 is a celebration of ancient origins marking the beginning of summer\, and 
 Alkemie’s inaugural iteration will include a guided May Day dance\, a de
 monstration of non-amplified medieval instruments\, a May Day trivia scave
 nger hunt\, optional participation in short scenes from a medieval play\, 
 and face painting!
