 ur upcoming release!\nLessons from Nightingales: Songs of Sufi Mysteries 
 features world premiere recordings of two pieces by Sanlıkol: the a capp
 ella work Devran (2017) and The Triumph (2024)\, for vocal ensemble a
 nd Turkish instruments (played by members of DÜNYA)\, composed for Blue H
 eron’s 25th birthday.\nLessons from Nightingales: Songs of Sufi Mysterie
 s will be released in August on the Blue Heron label. We just need to rai
 se a few more thousand dollars to put it over the finish line.\nJoin us at
  the lovely home of our longtime supporter and gracious friend John Carey 
 in Wellesley Hills\, for a preview of the album (including videos)\, some 
 music (Turkish and medieval)\, and light refreshments including Turkish tr
 eats. Ample free street parking is available.\nPay what you will to suppor
 t production of the album\; a minimum donation of $75 is suggested.
