DESCRIPTION:Join Musique du Jour Presents as we welcome our new Director Li
 ndsey Strand-Polyak for our 2025-2026 season\, and continue the tradition 
 of intimate chamber music performances on period instruments in the Pacifi
 c Northwest. On October 19\, Tamara Friedman (fortepiano) and Lindsey Stra
 nd Polyak (violin) will be sharing a program entitled Bright Music for the
  Big Dark: Duos for the Change of Season. It will be an afternoon filled w
 ith sonatas meant to brighten our spirits and fill us with memories. The
 re's nothing like music to bring you back to a point in time\, to a specia
 l place\, and a treasured feeling. Tamara and Lindsey selected duo sonatas
  for violin and fortepiano by Mozart (K. 379)\, Beethoven (Op.96 and Bagat
 elles)\, and Schubert (Op. 137 no. 1) that bring joy and warmth as we head
  into the coziness of sweater season and the shorter days of fall. Perform
