DESCRIPTION:Giuseppe Antonio Brescianello (ca. 1690 to 1758) grew up in Bol
 ogna and spent much of his career at the courts of Munich and Stuttgart. H

 imacy of chamber music with the brilliance of concerto-style violin writin
 g. Each work functions like a concerto for two violins\, unfolding without
  the support of a full orchestra.\nLike many Italian musicians who were re
 cruited to German courts in the eighteenth century\, Brescianello is not w
 idely known today. In his own time\, however\, he was highly respected\, p
 articularly for his violin concertos. These works offer a vivid glimpse in
 to the cosmopolitan musical life of the German courts and showcase a disti
