DESCRIPTION:Arizona Early Music presents l'Accademia de' Dissonanti\nAccade
 mia de’ Dissonanti\, founded in 2020\, presents concerts\, publications\
 , and educational academies focused on historical performance and creative
  research under artistic director Elinor Frey. Named after a 17th-century 
 Modenese society\, the ensemble fosters musical exploration. Their debut C
 D\, Jean Baur: Chamber Music\, won the 2024 Opus Prize for Early Music CD 
 of the Year. They have toured Canada and performed at major festivals\, in
 cluding Montréal Chamber Music Festival and Festival Classica.\n\nProgram
 : The Art of Variation\nThe “Theme and Variations” has been one of his
 tory’s most enduring musical forms and has inspired creativity from cent
 uries of musicians. In The Art of Variation\, Accademia de’ Dissonanti p
 resents an unusual program of research\, exploration\, composition\, and p
 erformance that corresponds to the most recent innovations in eighteenth-c
 entury performance practice and improvisation. This program features Baroq
 ue masterworks by Corelli\, Leo\, Vivaldi\, Tartini\, and Dall’Abaco and
  newer compositions in the Baroque style by Nicola Canzano and Elinor Frey
 .
