DESCRIPTION:Early Music Missouri continues its collaborative presentations 
 with the St. Louis Art Museum on December 11\, 2026 with a free concert of
  Baroque holiday music from Italy. The program takes place in Farrell Audi
 torium as part of SLAM's Festive Friday events. This performance reprises 
 Early Music Missouri’s popular 2025 program of holiday music by three of
  the most renowned composers of the Baroque era. Selections from Arcangelo
  Corelli’s famous Christmas Concerto will be bracketed by George Frideri
 c Handel’s Gloria for solo soprano and Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria for so
 loists\, choir and string ensemble. This concert of High Baroque masterpie
 ces will offer an entertaining and inspiring musical start to the holiday 
 season.\n\nThe concert is free and open to the public. Parking lots on Art
  Hill offer free street parking while the SLAM parking garage offers paid\
 , covered parking with direct access to the museum.\n\nEarly Music Missour
 i is the region's foremost promoter and presenter of Early Music concerts.
  Its performances feature Medieval\, Renaissance and Baroque repertoire pe
 rformed on period instruments by expert performers from the region and nat
 ion.
