 , 23\, 30\, Oct 7\n\n\n\n\n\nThe music of Matteo da Perugia belongs to the
  short-lived flowering of a beautiful late medieval genre known today as 
 “ars subtilior”. His music is preserved in Modena A and other sources\
 , and contains both secular and sacred compositions. Matteo da Perugia was
  the first magister capellae at the Milan Cathedral from 1402-1407\, and o
 ne of his patrons was the antipope Alexander V. Prerequisites: The Wednesd
 ays series is geared towards experienced readers of early notation\, who h
