  Gabrieli:\n“On his deathbed\, he bequeathed to me out of singular affec
 tion\, in memory of him\, one of his rings left behind\, which after his d
 eath was presented and delivered to me by his father confessor.”\nThis b
 eautiful story is the inspiration for The Newberry Consort’s final progr
 am of this 40th-Anniversary season: a celebration of teachers and their st
 udents during the late Renaissance and early Baroque.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\
 n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe program features works for singers\, strings\, corn
 etti\, sackbuts\, lutes\, and organ—from small-scale chamber music to th
