 al ensembles in Europe: a trio of women known as the Concerto delle donne
 . One member\, Laura Peverara\, was so admired and beloved that she inspir
 ed two madrigal anthologies\, published in 1582 and 1583. Blue Heron prese
 nts a selection of this rich repertoire\, including music by Wert\, Marenz
 io\, Luzzaschi\, and others.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis program will also be pr
