DESCRIPTION:An das Klavier\n&nbsp\;\nAlissa Duryee ~ clavichord\nAn Das Kla
 vier takes its title from the eponymous song by Friederike Pallas\, after
  a poem by Englehard\, featured in archival musical notebooks of the Penns
 ylvania Moravians. Its text portrays the intimate and cathartic experience
  of keyboard playing. This program combines works by European masters with
  those of Bethlehem Moravians’ notebooks\, in an effort to reconstruct t
 hat experience at the clavichord.\nAlissa Duryee is a performer and educa
 tor based in France. She was awarded Second Prize in the International Cla
 vichord Composition Competition of the Nordic Historical Keyboard Festival
  in 2018\, and was the recipient of the 2023 Joan Benson Prize for accompl
 ishment in clavichord. Recent projects include a recording showcasing the 
 18th-century Meerbach clavichord at Moravian College in Bethlehem\, PA.\n&
