 onies is a program of the earliest polyphonic traditions from France\, Ge
 orgia\, Ukraine\, Russia\, England and Greece\, performed alongside contem
 porary works composed in response to these chant traditions. It showcases 
 an array of radically divergent early polyphonic traditions\, including se
 veral new transcriptions of polyphonic works which have not been performed
  for over 300 years.\n\nNamed after a Slavic polyphonic chant tradition\,
  Demestvo is a quartet founded by Princeton Musicology PhD student and s
 oprano Anastasia Shmytova. Conceived as part of her dissertation research 
 on Medieval Slavic chant and early polyphony\, Demestvo is committed to br
 inging the unique sound world of this unheard music to contemporary audien
