DESCRIPTION:A workshop exploring 16th century polyphony with masters of the
  genre: Paul O'Dette and Ronn McFarlane.\n\nThe workshop will feature old 
 and new ensemble arrangements for viol and lute of masterpieces of the 16
 th century as well as a generous selection of light-hearted frottole from 
 the court of Isabella d'Este of Mantua. Scores and tablature parts will be
  provided upon registration.\n\nParticipants will be divided into two cons
 orts of mixed lutes and viols with four class sessions during the day. The
  teachers will alternate between the consorts. Space is also available for
  a limited number of auditors.
