DESCRIPTION:Mountain Collegium is a week-long workshop with programs for al
 l levels of early musicians and folk musicians. The workshop takes place o
 n the scenic campus of Western Carolina University in Cullowhee\, North Ca
 rolina and has programs for all levels of Early Musicians and Folk Musicia
 ns. This year we will have 19 outstanding faculty members offering nearly 
 50 different classes for recorder\, viol\, brass\, double reeds\, capped r
 eeds\, harp\, and more. We especially invite you to sign up for at least o
 ne period of folk or crossover music\, or to try one of our classes for em
 erging viol players or emerging recorder players. Additional classes in co
 nsort conducting\, Medieval music\, folk music\, and much\, much more offe
