DESCRIPTION:\nCome down the Faight for a cozy concert in our gallery with B
 eneath a Tree\, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to small-ensemble 
 music.\n\n\n\n\nJoin us for an intimate concert experience designed for co
 mfort and connection in our upstairs gallery space\, Upper Faight. You'll 
 sit on the floor among cozy mats\, pillows\, and blankets\, creating a rel
 axed\, immersive atmosphere just steps from the music by duo Beneath A Tre
 e.\n\nDoors open at 6:30pm / Performance starts at 7:30pm\n\nBeverages wil
 l be available for purchase.\n\nMusings challenges the sound aesthetic of
  historical performance and invites a broader audience to take part and ex
 perience the baroque. BAT’s presentation of Henry Purcell’s (b. 1659-9
 5) Wondrous Machine explores the rise of artificial intelligence (AI) alon
 gside synthesizers\, pop dance rhythms and original compositional material
 \, taking it from early music into the 21st Century\, creating new listene
 rs for baroque music.\n\nBeneath A Tree (BAT) is a multi genre ensemble l
 ed by the core duo of Gail Hernández Rosa and Daniel Turkos. BAT's roots 
 were planted in 2017 in Philadelphia and the surrounding rural pubs of Che
 ster County\, PA. These rowdy performances included standard folk\, celtic
 \, bluegrass and jazz repertoire melded with music from the baroque. Found
 ed on the mutual love of historical performance\, collaborations with like
 -minded intrepid musicians explore the interrelationships found between co
 mposed and traditional folk music from the baroque period and its continue
 d relevance\, creating a curious and exciting fusion that appeals to varie
 d audiences. It is through a natural progression of musical curiosity BAT 
 finds the kinship between genres and their roots in the baroque\n\n\n
