Recorder Fest welcomes musicians of every ability and stage of life to perform for and to play with one another. The event features performances by elementary school recorder ensembles, accomplished middle & high school musicians, adult amateur ensembles, and professional recorder players; an open rehearsal; videos submitted by young players from around the country; and a Community Play-In open to all.

3:00-5:00 p.m. Open Rehearsal
Led by current and retired artistic directors Priscilla Herreid and Joan Kimball. Open to the public to observe.
6:00-6:30 p.m. Community Play-In
All are welcome! Artistic director Priscilla Herreid will lead participants through 2-3 pieces of music that we can all play together. Register to receive music in advance, or just show up with an instrument.
7:00-8:30 p.m. Concert
Elementary school recorder ensembles, advanced recorder students, adult amateur ensembles and professional musicians perform. We will also enjoy videos submitted by young musicians from around the country.
