 shop takes place at the Hidden Valley Music Seminars\, An Institute of the
  Arts in Carmel Valley\, California\, nestled amongst oak and buckeye tre
 es below majestic hillsides. Along with our rich opportunities for music m
 aking\, bird watching and walking can be enjoyed nearby.\nSchedule The wo
 rkshop includes four daily classes\, morning stretching\, and impromptu gr
 oup playing. Wednesday includes a free afternoon to explore the beautiful 
 Carmel/Monterey area\, play music\, or just relax!\nAnd there's more! \n- 
 Evening tutti playing sessions – all welcome (in addition to recorders a
 nd viols\, bring your krummhorns and other reed instruments if you have th
 em)\n- Evening playing sessions\, led by YOU! Bring your favorite pieces a
 nd be a conductor for an evening! \n- Faculty Concert on Thursday evening
 \n- Student Concert on Friday before dinner\n- Open Mic on Friday after di
 nner\n- Happy Hour every day\nInstrument Information/Level The Road Schol
 ar Recorder/Early Music Workshop is open to adult recorder and viol player
 s of all ages who play at intermediate to advanced levels. Recorder player
 s must be able to play at least one F instrument and one C instrument. All
  participants must bring their own instruments. This program includes dulc
 ian and shawm. The dulcian and shawm programs are open by audition. Please
  contact the workshop director at tishberlin@sbcglobal.net to arrange an o
 nline audition.\nRegistration It is Road Scholar policy that all programs
  will be closed to enrollment 35 days before they start. This means that y
