DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an afternoon of late Classical symphonic works composed i
 n Paris and the North American premiere of Sergii Leontiev's Little Bachia
 na\, written for Baroque Orchestra.\n\nThe musical scene in Paris was unli
 ke anywhere else in Europe. The draw of talent to the Paris Conservatory a
 lso fostered musical experimentation\, exploration\, and a stretching of m
 usical idioms. Haydn wrote his Symphony No. 87 only 10 years apart from Re
 icha's first Symphony in E-flat\, but they are tonally so very different.\
 n\nWinners of the third annual High School Baroque Artist Residency Compet
 ition will also perform with the Raleigh Camerata on Haydn's Symphony No. 
 87 in A major. Hear the delightful sounds of classical flutes\, oboes\, ba
