DESCRIPTION:Join us in a friendly conversation with renowned recorder playe
 r and early music educator!\n\nFor many\, Eva Legêne’s name most probab
 ly needs no further introduction. Born into the fourth-generation family o
 f musicians in the Netherlands\, she has been internationally sought-after
  both as a recorder performer and pedagogue. This session will invite her 
 to talk about her long and continuing career\, her reflections on her stud
 ies\, and some of the golden wisdom she has learned from musical luminarie
 s such as Frans Brüggen\, Gustav Leonhardt\, and the Kuijkens.\n\nIn addi
 tion\, I’ll also invite Eva to talk about one of her favorite subjects (
 and also mine as well!) - rhetoric in rhythm. Expect an amazingly educatio
