SUMMARY:The Joy of Discovery - New Directions
DESCRIPTION:This evening's luminous program begins with two exciting works 
 by CPE Bach -- a viola concerto and a sinfonia. The second half delves int
 o new music for Baroque instruments by Damien Geter and our own Martin Dav
 ids. The program concludes with the world premiere of Canzano's Concerto G
 rosso in A major\, composed especially for the Baroque Chamber Orchestra o
 f Colorado. Our full chamber orchestra of 15 (strings and continuo) is joi
 ned by Nicola Canzano\, Guest Artist and Composer\; Vijay Chalasani\, Arti
 st-in-Residence\; Martin Davids\, Concertmaster.\nThis is the second in ou
 r two-concert mini-fest\, The Joy of Discovery\, for you to discover the j
 oys of both old and new compositions\, all with a taste of baroque style.
