DESCRIPTION:In this recital\, experience the dramatic lows of tragedy and t
 he sparkling wit of comedy in cherished music by Franz Joseph Haydn and Wo
 lfgang Amadeus Mozart. Enjoy the music of these revered composers on a Vie
 nnese fortepiano\, the type they knew and loved.\n\nDavid Belkovski perfor
 ms on harpsichord\, fortepiano\, and modern piano\, and has won first priz
 e in several national and international competitions. He has served as Ass
 istant Conductor to Richard Egarr\, Raphaël Pichon\, and John Butt\, prep
 ared orchestras for William Christie\, and held the post of Assistant Cond
 uctor with Philharmonia Baroque Orchestra. He teaches courses and workshop
 s on continuo performance and historical pedagogy at Juilliard and is the 
 recipient of the Robert A. and Patricia S. Levinson Award\, the first awar
 ded in early music.
