Musica Sonora, Tucson’s only professional early music ensemble, will perform its final concert on Sunday, ending a run that goes back decades and draws its roots to the University of Arizona German department.

Co-directors Christina Jarvis, a soprano, and Jeffri Sanders, an organist, will share the stage at Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church with Tucson vocalists bass Arizeder Urreiztieta and tenor James Callegary for the free concert.

“We just put together a little program, just for fun,” said Jarvis, who has lead the group since the early 2000s.
