On Sunday, December 21, at 5pm at Emmanuel Episcopal Parish on Washington Street, Mountainside will revisit a seasonal community event–the ecumenical “Annual Favorite: A Festival of Lessons and Carols.” Featuring the Scholars of St. Cecilia, Mountainside Baroque’s resident chamber choir, the service will include music of the season, traditional carols, and readings by local clergy and officials. The event is free and open to the public, though a free-will offering will be received. A reception will follow in the church Parish Hall.
