Legendary French harpsichordist Pierre Hantaï, lauded as one of today’s most exceptional and musically expressive harpsichordists, performs two of G.F. Handel’s sumptuous, stately and oh! so compelling Suites for Harpsichord. Hantaï supplements those with his own compilations of Suites drawn from Handel’s oeuvres ‘Suites de Pièces pour le Clavecin’ 1720 and 1733. The splendid, rich acoustics of the Ballroom at La Maison Française will contribute in making this an unforgettable concert.
