Harmony Is in Our Hands: A New Concert Series Uniting Music and Social

Harmony Is in Our Hands presents local and international musicians performing repertoire inspired by the Baroque spirit of creativity, emotional depth, and shared humanity. All concerts operate under a pay-what-you-wish model to ensure accessibility for everyone.

Each performance raises funds for a charity chosen by the musicians, transforming the act of listening into an act of giving and strengthening our community.

Our inaugural concert will take place on December 6 at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church in Toronto at 2pm, featuring an exceptional ensemble:

•Hélène Brunet – JUNO Award–winning soprano

•Julia Wedman – violin

•Cristina Prats Costa – violin

•Matt Antal – viola

•Marco Cera – oboe

•Mélisande Corriveau – viola da gamba & cello

•Avi Stein – harpsichord

This opening concert will support two charitable partners:

•YWCA Toronto, advancing gender equity and supporting women and gender-diverse individuals experiencing violence, poverty, and systemic barriers

•Friends of Music, a St. Thomas’s Church initiative that provides free music lessons to children who would otherwise be unable to afford them

By pairing world-class Baroque performance with community-based giving, the launch event embodies the heart of our project.
