Baroque Music Montana reunites friends from Juilliard for intimate performances. A charming and stylish virtuoso harpsichordist from Madrid shares character dance pieces by Spanish composers Cabezon, Cabanilles, and from the collection Flores de Musica of 1709, sonatas by Scarlatti and Bach’s French Suite in E-flat major. Bozeman-based Baroque violinist Carrie Krause joins for work by Bach including the Obligato Sonata in c minor as well as the gorgeous Cantabile from the G major Sonata.Â
The musicians tour this program February 24-March 1, with concerts at the Mammoth Chapel in Gardiner, Linda Foy art gallery in Twin Bridges, Cikan house in Bozeman, Tongue River Winery in Miles City, Held Ranch in Broadus, and Kania house in Shepherd.
