In 1781, Francis Hopkinson put his own lyrics and story to the music of Handel and Arne, creating a uniquely American musical experience. Now, over 200 years later, Tempesta di Mare has pulled together the parts of the original score of America Independent for its first fully orchestral performance in 250 years.
