The Pandora Consort, a dynamic force in early music, is excited to release an album of their sought-after concert program, Hildegard Reanimated: Vision in Vision.
“The Pandora Consort is an early music ensemble pushing the limits of historical performance practice, bringing informed representations of early music together with modern multimedia to create a brand new concert experience. When we were approached by Jamie Mohr at Epsilon Spires and Candace Jensen at In-Situ Polyculture Commons to record an album version of Hildegard Reanimated, we were over the moon,” shares Pandora’s Marketing Manager, Gina Marie Falk.
The young trio, champions of the music of Hildegard von Bingen, has been featured by organizations and series such as Pegasus Early Music/New York State Baroque, Salon avec moi, Otter Creek Music Festival, Vermont Public Classical, SoHIP Boston, the Saint James World & Early Music Series, King’s Chapel Concert Series, Gotham Early Music Series (GEMS), In-Situ Polyculture, Off the Dock Chamber Festival, and Epsilon Spires’ GRRLS TO THE FRONT.
In its two-year touring history, Hildegard Reanimated: Vision in Vision has been mentioned in the following publications: The Boston Musical Intelligencer (Pandora Animates Hildegard), the Vermont Standard (Hartland native Kendra Comstock returns home, bringing the sights and sounds of early music), The Commons (Epsilon Spires presents music and visions of Hildegard on Oct. 19), Salon Avec Moi (Saints in the City: Snider’s Hildegard), and the New York Times (24 Fun Things to Do in NYC in January). The ensemble’s original folk opera was mentioned by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer, Megan Marshall, in her article Telling – and defending – the full story of America for the Boston Globe.
Starting on July 29 2026, Hildegard Reanimated: Vision in Vision will be accessible for listeners to stream and download wherever they listen to music (e.g. Spotify, Tidal, Youtube Music, Deezer, etc). The album has been available for purchase on Bandcamp since March of 2026, as part of the Pandora Consort’s fundraiser to press a limited run of vinyl records.
The Pandora Consort remains dedicated to providing a new kind of early music experience to its audiences. While the album version of this successful program does not include the same multimedia experience as the live concert, the transmission of the music of Hildegard von Bingen can allow listeners into a rich and meditative sound world all the same.
