Paris
Pegasus Early Music opens their 22nd season with French baroque music from the city that inspires love. A hub of musical activity in the 18th century, Paris inspired and welcomed composers such as Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre, Georg Phillip Telemann, Blavet, and Marais. At court and in private salons, audiences mingled with musicians and heard the latest in musical styles.
