ATLANTA BAROQUE ORCHESTRA PRESENTS:

CONVERSATIONS AMONGST FRIENDS: CONCERTI GROSSI FROM ITALY AND BEYOND

The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra excitedly invites you to experience the ensemble’s first-ever live-streamed performance, titled “Conversations with Friends: Concerti Grossi from Italy and Beyond.” On March 5 at 7:30 PM EST, the orchestra will assemble at the Cathedral of St. Phillip for a live performance of solo and ensemble roles by composers including G.F. Handel, Georg Muffat, Giuseppe Sammartini, and Giuseppe Valentini. Ticketed access to a recording of the live stream will be available through March 15.

With their period-specific instruments in hand, the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra members will create their signature orchestral magic while performing masked and distanced to ensure that the performance meets health and safety guidelines.

Ticket prices range from $15 to $50, allowing viewers to select the tier of support that suits their financial situation. Tickets are available on Eventbrite. Please see the attached release for additional details.

As a countdown to the March 5 performance and in celebration of her 10th anniversary season, Atlanta Baroque Orchestra Artistic Director and Concertmaster Julie Andrijeski has shared her top ten favorite concert moments in a “Concert Highlights Countdown” that can be found on the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra’s website and on YouTube.
