Baroque music fills the Blue Hill Peninsula in Downeast Maine once again as the 16th annual Blue Hill Bach Festival returns July 12–18, 2026.
With a week of performances and community events in churches, libraries, barns, and other venues across the peninsula, Festival Week features a mix of free and ticketed events, including concerts, talks, masterclasses, and opportunities to experience the music of J.S. Bach and his contemporaries.
Founded in 2011, Blue Hill Bach presents historically informed performances and educational programs that celebrate early music in Maine. The festival is also home to a Young Artist Fellowship, which provides emerging singers with mentorship, coaching, and performance opportunities alongside professional musicians.
